SACRED VALLEYN PRIME INKAS TREK

The Sacred Valley of the Incas  is a stunning region in the Peruvian Andes, near Cusco, that was crucial to the Inca Civilization. It follows the Urubamba River and is filled with ancient archaeological sites, traditional villages, and breathtaking landscapes, during the tour we can visit the most beautiful archeological sites like:

PISAQ – PISAQ TOWN

Pick up from your hotel 8 a.m. in the direction of the Archaeological Complex of Pisaq (3550m) with several stops on the route to appreciate beautiful landscapes of the Andes and especially the Sacred Valley of the Incas and its imposing Vilcanota River that runs through this small canyon, appreciating corn fields, potatoes, legumes, vegetables and others. Once in Pisaq you can take a tour of the place where we can see the majesty of this place located on the top of a mountain consisting of terraces, warehouses of products, urban places and scenic beauty.

After the archaeological complex of Pisaq we will arrive at the colonial town of Pisaq which is in the lower part of the mountain and we can see Jewerlies working with gold and silver making beutiful pieces in those precious metals and  traditionals ovens where the delicious empanadas are made.

OLLANTAYTAMBO

After Pisaq we will take the bus and we will go trought the Urubamba valley looking the vilcanota river than later is call Urubamba river for 58 km/36 miles that takes 1:30 hours. Is where we can see beatiful landscapes, colorful towns and huge part of the agriculture procces that local people working.

Once in Ollantaytambo town we will see the “Alive museum city” where local families are living in the original constructions. Then we will go to see the constructions of Ollantaytambo complex, during the explanation we will see majestic terraces, water fountains, temple of the Sun and storage houses after the tour we will go to take our delicious lunch that is in one restaurant in Ollantaytambo

CHINCHEROS

After the lunch we will take a bus for 1 hour, from Ollantaytambo to Chincheros (Weavers Town)

We will be able to visit a family of weavers where they will teach you how they process the alpaca and baby alpaca fiber, such as cutting, washing, dyeing, and weaving.

Then we will go to see  and learn about this place that was  Tupac Inka Yupanqui´s Palace where we can appreciate the beautiful complex of Chincheros that is on top of one mountain with terraces, ceremonial places, impressive constructions and one of the churches built in the XVII century because. Finally we  will take the bus going back to Cusco city,  that will take 45 minutes and drop you off near your hotel.
